Summer brings freedom and flexibility for some families, and there is great value to downtime and boredom that helps promote creativity and free play. However, some gifted brains go a little bonkers without the stimulation that may come from learning, If your child is in need of some summer structure or learning, find a variety of resources that can help support summer enrichment on this page.

Summer Reading Programs
The MT and Lancaster Public Library are both offering summer reading programs again this year. Take advantage of them for enrichment and prizes!
Summer Math Enrichment
In addition to paid programming, this site provides free videos that are engaging and informative around the topics of pre-algebra, algebra, and math counts (a middle school math competition), which would be appropriate for our 5th and 6th grade students looking for a stretch.
This site provides no-frills, clear, and concise instruction on math concepts from grade 6 through high school.
