Elementary EXCEL provides a pull out enrichment program for identified students. Students typically meet with the EXCEL teacher for approximately an hour and a half each week.

Activities are designed to explore themes in depth, work on independent projects, practice higher-order thinking skills, and discuss affective issues.

EXCEL also provides support services for use in the regular education program, acceleration in appropriate areas, and extra-curricular extension activities.
Excel, 5-6

Landis Run EXCEL provides a pull-out enrichment program for identified students. Students typically meet with each EXCEL teacher for approximately two 45-minute sessions per cycle.
- ELA Excel (Reading/Writing goals) is taught during small group time of students' ELA class. Math Excel is taught during small group time of students' math class.

Excel 7-8

In Middle School, Excel is offered as a graded course in lieu of two related arts classes. Students are not pulled from any other classes for instruction, which means they don't miss content, don’t need to juggle their schedule, OR have to make up work! If a gifted student opts out of the EXCEL course, they are still considered part of the gifted program and keep their GIEP. Goals in GIEPS are monitored and supported by both the gifted teacher as well as the regular education teachers., acceleration in appropriate areas, and extra-curricular extension activities.
